The hydrogen Innovation Center combines state-of-the-art infrastructure for research, development and collaboration. With offices, conference and seminar rooms, laboratories as well as test and open spaces, it provides ideal conditions for innovations in hydrogen technologies. The versatile rooms and facilities create a flexible framework for projects from the initial idea through to implementation

Proving Ground

  • Rentable space for container-based systems and test benches
  • Power/media supply (H2, N2, DI water, harmful gases, etc.) and cooling 
  • HIC technical center (infrastructure, media distribution, consumption and generation recording, etc.)

Lab and workshop

  • Test benches for single cells, short and full stacks up to 275 kW (some with climate chamber) 
  • Systems up to 2 x 170 kW, BoP component test benches (anode, cathode, cooling) 
  • Workshop for stack and system assembly, prototype and tool construction 
  • Laboratories for material characterization, measuring rooms and gas analysis 
  • Rentable laboratories with H2 and N2 connection, oil-free compressed air, humidity control, etc.
