The Hydrogen Innovation Center (HIC) was significantly initiated by the hydrogen technology cluster HZwo e.V. and designed in close cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), industrial partners, research institutions, and other regional and supra-regional stakeholders.
Building on industry needs, the HIC was jointly planned, designed, and strategically aligned to create practical development, testing, and qualification services along the entire hydrogen value chain.
The HZwo hydrogen technology cluster e. V. coordinates a broad alliance of over 160 companies and research institutions with a focus on hydrogen and furthermore, led the planning and application process for the HIC. The HIC bundles the expertise and innovation capabilities of its partners from the supplier, machine and plant engineering, vehicle manufacturer, and research institution sectors as members of the HZwo hydrogen industry cluster, as well as other companies and industry networks.
