The HIC - Hydrogen Innovation Center in Chemnitz is being built as a modern industrial research, testing and certification facility and is one of the four sites of the National Hydrogen Innovation and Technology Center (ITZ H2).
Together with small and medium-sized companies, automotive suppliers, industrial partners and experts from fuel cell research, the HIC was designed to form a bridge between scientific research, technology transfer and industrial value creation.
HIC already provides companies from all over Germany with engineering and development services relating to hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. These include feasibility analyses, technical assessments and support in the development and design of systems and components.
